FULL SPECTRUM INFRARED TECHNOLOGY

Infrared is an invisible wavelength of therapeutic light, experienced as heat, with the ability to safely penetrate human tissue and raise core body temperature. Infrared heat is very gentle and healthy for all living things. Its medical grade quality is used by various physicians, and it is even used to warm babies in the hospital.

Unlike traditional saunas, which solely heat the air and operate in excess of 200°F, Infrared heat warms the body directly and is effective at a more comfortable temperature, between 100°-150°F, producing a deep sweat composed of 20% toxins as opposed to just 3% toxins with a traditional sauna.

Research shows each wavelength of the Infrared Spectrum (FAR, MID, and NEAR) targets different parts of the body to produce specific health benefits.

Pure Sweat + Float Studio's industry-leading, infrared wavelengths provide a wealth of health and healing benefits.

Cell Health, Immunity, and Healing

Near Infrared (NIR) therapy, delivered directly into body tissue with LED light, has been clinically shown to successfully  increase cell health and tissue growth.

ANTI-AGING

Near Infrared (NIR), the shortest wavelength, targets the epidermis and dermis layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production and improving its appearance. NIR therapy  reduces wrinkles and scars, makes skin look radiant, firms and improves skin tone and elasticity, and has also been effective for the treatment of acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Regular use may also help reduce cellulite trapped beneath the skin.

PAIN RELIEF + IMPROVED CIRCULATION

Infrared saunas are an effective therapy to treat joint, muscle, and arthritis pain. Mid infrared (MIR) wavelengths specifically penetrate the body’s soft tissue, where inflammation occurs. MIR helps expand blood vessels and increase circulation, so more oxygen can reach injured areas of the body, reducing inflammation and swelling while promoting cellular repair. This, in turn, alleviates pain and speeds the healing process.

WEIGHT LOSS

Studies have shown that an infrared sauna session can burn up to 600 calories, since sweating increases heart rate, cardiac output, and metabolic rate. Regular infrared therapy has also been beneficial in reducing belly fat in just three months.

DETOXIFICATION

Sweating is the body's natural and safe way to eliminate toxins. Far infrared (FIR) wavelengths amplify this process by reaching deepest into the body, where toxins are stored, breaking them apart so they can be released through sweat. By heating the body directly on a cellular level, FIR raises core body temperature and stimulates the sweat glands, resulting in a deep, detoxifying sweat 7 to 10 times greater than a conventional sauna.

LOWER BLOOD PRESSURE + RELAXATION

Our Solocarbon® heaters are clinically shown to lower blood pressure via 30 minute sauna sessions three times a week. Repeated infrared treatment improves impaired blood vessel function in patients with high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol.
